Al-Mursalat [The Emissaries,winds sent forth ]
|
|
|
| | 77:1 | وَالْمُرْسَلاتِ عُرْفًا
| | | Waalmursalati AAurfan
| | By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit);
|
| | 77:2 | فَالْعَاصِفَاتِ عَصْفًا
| | | FaalAAasifati AAasfan
| | Which then blow violently in tempestuous Gusts,
|
| | 77:3 | وَالنَّاشِرَاتِ نَشْرًا
| | | Waalnnashirati nashran
| | And scatter (things) far and wide;
|
| | 77:4 | فَالْفَارِقَاتِ فَرْقًا
| | | Faalfariqati farqan
| | Then separate them, one from another,
|
| | 77:5 | فَالْمُلْقِيَاتِ ذِكْرًا
| | | Faalmulqiyati thikran
| | Then spread abroad a Message,
|
| | 77:6 | عُذْرًا أَوْ نُذْرًا
| | | AAuthran aw nuthran
| | Whether of Justification or of Warning;-
|
| | 77:7 | إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَاقِعٌ
| | | Innama tooAAadoona lawaqiAAun
| | Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass.
|
| | 77:8 | فَإِذَا النُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ
| | | Fa-itha alnnujoomu tumisat
| | Then when the stars become dim;
|
| | 77:9 | وَإِذَا السَّمَاءُ فُرِجَتْ
| | | Wa-itha alssamao furijat
| | When the heaven is cleft asunder;
|
| | 77:10 | وَإِذَا الْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ
| | | Wa-itha aljibalu nusifat
| | When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust;
|
| | 77:11 | وَإِذَا الرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ
| | | Wa-itha alrrusulu oqqitat
| | And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);-
|
| | 77:12 | لأيِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ
| | | Li-ayyi yawmin ojjilat
| | For what Day are these (portents) deferred?
|
| | 77:13 | لِيَوْمِ الْفَصْلِ
| | | Liyawmi alfasli
| | For the Day of Sorting out.
|
| | 77:14 | وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ
| | | Wama adraka ma yawmu alfasli
| | And what will explain to thee what is the Day of Sorting out?
|
| | 77:15 | وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
| | | Waylun yawma-ithin lilmukaththibeena
| | Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth!
|
| | 77:16 | أَلَمْ نُهْلِكِ الأوَّلِينَ
| | | Alam nuhliki al-awwaleena
| | Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)?
|
| | 77:17 | ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ الآخِرِينَ
| | | Thumma nutbiAAuhumu al-akhireena
| | So shall We make later (generations) follow them.
|
| | 77:18 | كَذَلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِالْمُجْرِمِينَ
| | | Kathalika nafAAalu bialmujrimeena
| | Thus do We deal with men of sin.
|
| | 77:19 | وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
| | | Waylun yawma-ithin lilmukaththibeena
| | Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth!
|
| | 77:20 | أَلَمْ نَخْلُقْكُمْ مِنْ مَاءٍ مَهِينٍ
| | | Alam nakhluqkum min ma-in maheenin
| | Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?-
|
| | 77:21 | فَجَعَلْنَاهُ فِي قَرَارٍ مَكِينٍ
| | | FajaAAalnahu fee qararin makeenin
| | The which We placed in a place of rest, firmly fixed,
|
| | 77:22 | إِلَى قَدَرٍ مَعْلُومٍ
| | | Ila qadarin maAAloomin
| | For a period (of gestation), determined (according to need)?
|
| | 77:23 | فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ الْقَادِرُونَ
| | | Faqadarna faniAAma alqadiroona
| | For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things).
|
| | 77:24 | وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
| | | Waylun yawma-ithin lilmukaththibeena
| | Ah woe, that Day! to the Rejecters of Truth!
|
| | 77:25 | أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ الأرْضَ كِفَاتًا
| | | Alam najAAali al-arda kifatan
| | Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together.
|
| | 77:26 | أَحْيَاءً وَأَمْوَاتًا
| | | Ahyaan waamwatan
| | The living and the dead,
|
| | 77:27 | وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ شَامِخَاتٍ وَأَسْقَيْنَاكُمْ مَاءً فُرَاتًا
| | | WajaAAalna feeha rawasiya shamikhatin waasqaynakum maan furatan
| | And made therein mountains standing firm, lofty (in stature); and provided for you water sweet (and wholesome)?
|
| | 77:28 | وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
| | | Waylun yawma-ithin lilmukaththibeena
| | Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth!
|
| | 77:29 | انْطَلِقُوا إِلَى مَا كُنْتُمْ بِهِ تُكَذِّبُونَ
| | | Intaliqoo ila ma kuntum bihi tukaththiboona
| | (It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false!
|
| | 77:30 | انْطَلِقُوا إِلَى ظِلٍّ ذِي ثَلاثِ شُعَبٍ
| | | Intaliqoo ila thillin thee thalathi shuAAabin
| | "Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns,
|
| | 77:31 | لا ظَلِيلٍ وَلا يُغْنِي مِنَ اللَّهَبِ
| | | La thaleelin wala yughnee mina allahabi
| | "(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze.
|
| | 77:32 | إِنَّهَا تَرْمِي بِشَرَرٍ كَالْقَصْرِ
| | | Innaha tarmee bishararin kaalqasri
| | "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts,
|
| | 77:33 | كَأَنَّهُ جِمَالَةٌ صُفْرٌ
| | | Kaannahu jimalatun sufrun
| | "As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)."
|
| | 77:34 | وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
| | | Waylun yawma-ithin lilmukaththibeena
| | Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth!
|
| | 77:35 | هَذَا يَوْمُ لا يَنْطِقُونَ
| | | Hatha yawmu la yantiqoona
| | That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak.
|
| | 77:36 | وَلا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ
| | | Wala yu/thanu lahum fayaAAtathiroona
| | Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas.
|
| | 77:37 | وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
| | | Waylun yawma-ithin lilmukaththibeena
| | Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth!
|
| | 77:38 | هَذَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ جَمَعْنَاكُمْ وَالأوَّلِينَ
| | | Hatha yawmu alfasli jamaAAnakum waal-awwaleena
| | That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)!
|
| | 77:39 | فَإِنْ كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌ فَكِيدُونِ
| | | Fa-in kana lakum kaydun fakeedooni
| | Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me!
|
| | 77:40 | وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
| | | Waylun yawma-ithin lilmukaththibeena
| | Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth!
|
| | 77:41 | إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي ظِلالٍ وَعُيُونٍ
| | | Inna almuttaqeena fee thilalin waAAuyoonin
| | As to the Righteous, they shall be amidst (cool) shades and springs (of water).
|
| | 77:42 | وَفَوَاكِهَ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ
| | | Wafawakiha mimma yashtahoona
| | And (they shall have) fruits,- all they desire.
|
| | 77:43 | كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا هَنِيئًا بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
| | | Kuloo waishraboo hanee-an bima kuntum taAAmaloona
| | "Eat ye and drink ye to your heart's content: for that ye worked (Righteousness).
|
| | 77:44 | إِنَّا كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ
| | | Inna kathalika najzee almuhsineena
| | Thus do We certainly reward the Doers of Good.
|
| | 77:45 | وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
| | | Waylun yawma-ithin lilmukaththibeena
| | Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth!
|
| | 77:46 | كُلُوا وَتَمَتَّعُوا قَلِيلا إِنَّكُمْ مُجْرِمُونَ
| | | Kuloo watamattaAAoo qaleelan innakum mujrimoona
| | (O ye unjust!) Eat ye and enjoy yourselves (but) a little while, for that ye are Sinners.

| | 77:47 | وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
| | | Waylun yawma-ithin lilmukaththibeena
| | Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth!
|
| | 77:48 | وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ارْكَعُوا لا يَرْكَعُونَ
| | | Wa-itha qeela lahumu irkaAAoo la yarkaAAoona
| | And when it is said to them, "Prostrate yourselves!" they do not so.
|
| | 77:49 | وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
| | | Waylun yawma-ithin lilmukaththibeena
| | Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth!
|
| | 77:50 | فَبِأَيِّ حَدِيثٍ بَعْدَهُ يُؤْمِنُونَ
| | | Fabi-ayyi hadeethin baAAdahu yu/minoona
| | Then what Message, after that, will they believe in?
|
|
